Plan to visit with family mid September, including kids 2,10, 11 .5 days at parks, which days would be best?

    Hello, Debbie!

I'm so happy to hear you are planning your next family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and allowing us to help.

September is my favorite time to visit! The parks are beautifully decorated in autumn colors, the weather is usually a bit cooler and crowds tend to be much lighter. One of my favorite Special Events, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party also begins.

There are many park crowd calendars online to help you predict what the crowds are going to be like, however, you shouldn't really need them as I wouldn't predict the crowds to be too crazy during that time of the year.  If you are staying on-site, take a look at the Park Calendar to check when Extra Magic Hours are scheduled and use them when possible. They are such a great benefit to staying on property! My family also likes to begin and end our vacation at Magic Kingdom Park.

Should you like any additional assistance in planning your magical adventure, please ask--I'd love to help! Have a delightfully Disney day, Debbie.

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
