Hey there, Anya! Thanks so much for dropping by planDisney with your great question.
One of the many reasons I love Disneyland Resort so much is because there really is something there for every age and every one. I'm happy to share that it shouldn't be a problem for your partner to enjoy the attraction queues with you. I recently was in the parks with a group of friends and we had a few who did not enjoy certain thrill rides, so they went through the queue with us and then exited when we got on the ride. I would just double-check with each Cast Member when you walk up to the attraction queue and ask them if he is able to wait in the line with you and then exit. When you are in the line and you get towards the front, a Cast Member asks you how many there are in your party. This is where you will let them know that it is just you as he will not be riding.
One of my favorite things to do at Disneyland is enjoy the snacks and food in the parks, so be sure to make a list of your must-eats! If you will be heading over to Disney California Adventure Park, from now through April 26, 2022, the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is happening and this is a perfect alternative to attractions. I also love visiting
Animation Academy where you can draw some of your favorite Disney characters.
Over in Disneyland Park, our family loves taking the ride on the
Disneyland Railroad for a full loop around the park. There's also
Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln and that building houses a lot of really cool Disneyland memorabilia. I suggest opening up the Disneyland app to the park map and using the pulldown menu to "Entertainment". This will let you know all the other options going on throughout the parks and showtimes.
Anya, I hope this information helps you feel more at ease that you both will be able to enjoy a wonderful time at The Happiest Place on Earth!
Carrie
