Hiya, Kali!
Welcome to planDisney!
This is a fa-boo-lous question!
Halloween time at Disneyland Resort is frightfully fun. Not only will your regular
theme park admission ticket grant you the fun of a regular Disney day, but there will also be all kinds of bonus experiences, like characters in their Halloween costumes, seasonal overlays to certain attractions, and all kinds of
themed treats, eats, and sweets!
I actually don't think there is a bad time to visit during this spooky season. The
Oogie Boogie Bash is held on select nights starting in early September and runs all the way through Halloween night. While we won't know the specific dates for 2023 until early summer, the events are usually held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights. (Pro Tip: tickets for this yEAR's events - every single date - sold out on the day they were released, so if this is high on your bucket list be sure to watch the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disneyland Resort Instagram channels for more info!)
Parades,
Fireworks, and other stage shows are a bit harder to estimate at the moment as we're still coming back online from the pandemic pause. Your best bet to see dazzling displays in the sky would be on the weekends, but typically parades are a daily occurrence. Be sure to start checking the
Daily Event Calendar in the weeks leading up to your visit so you can start planning each Disney day that much better!
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Kali! Be sure to follow the
