Hi. We plan to visit Disneyland LA in July. Is there any difference if we visit on weekends or during the week? Is there more shows and events on weekends or is every day of the week the same? Kind regards

    Hello, Anze!

Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!

The Hours and Events Calendar doesn't stretch into July just yet, but if we peek at the latest dates available in June we can get a good idea of what summer nights may look like at the Disneyland Resort. Right now, those summer days all look magically similar with each park planning to present atmosphere entertainment, a parade, and a nighttime spectacular multiple times each day, weekend or not. The schedule is usually updated about six weeks in advance, so keep watching for July to pop up!

My best advice for visiting the Disneyland Resort in the summer is to get up bright and early! Being among the first guests in the park lets you enjoy shorter wait times, not to mention cooler temperatures. Come early, then go take a break at an indoor dining location or your hotel during the hottest part of the day before you return to enjoy the park all lit up at night. It's gorgeous!

You'll be visiting during two awesome events at the parks! Pixar Fest is celebrating friendship in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, including a super fun parade, dance party, and nighttime spectacular. You can also go on an intergalactic adventure for Season of the Force in Disneyland Park, meeting droids and characters, feeling the Force on attractions, and exploring otherworldly snacks. It will be epic! Just don't forget to purchase your theme park tickets and make theme park reservations well in advance to make sure you can visit the parks on the date you are planning.

I hope these ideas help you plan the perfect visit to the parks, Anze! May the Force be with you!

    Keep moving forward!
