We plan to visit Disney World between Dec 24-31,24 and was wondering if there any fireworks at Magic Kingdom and on what day?

    Greetings Ora!

You're visiting Walt Disney World during one of the most magical times of the year! December 24-31 is truly special, with the parks decked out in stunning holiday décor and holiday spirit everywhere you turn. Magic Kingdom Park feels like stepping into a winter wonderland, with towering Christmas trees, and beautiful holiday touches around every corner.

Historically, Christmas week has been filled with iconic holiday happenings. In the Magic Kingdom, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade has been performed and is a crowd favorite, featuring our favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday best, marching toy soldiers, and even Santa himself! If you're lucky, you might even see "snow" on Main Street, U.S.A. And don't forget to experience Jingle Cruise, a holiday twist on the classic Jungle Cruise!

Over at EPCOT, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is a beautiful way to experience festive traditions from cultures around the globe. The Candlelight Processional is a must-see, with a celebrity narrator telling the Christmas story accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir. You’ll also find unique holiday treats and beverages in the World Showcase pavilions, from spiced cookies to warm holiday drinks.

All of the Theme Parks and Disney Springs will have stunning decorations, special treats, and seasonal merchandise. Look out for gingerbread houses at some of the Disney resorts too—those displays are incredible!

As for the fireworks, the Magic Kingdom usually offers a nightly display, and during Christmas week, that’s often the spectacular Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, which lights up the sky with holiday music and dazzling bursts of color. On New Year's Eve, the parks have been known to go all out with special fireworks to ring in the new year. However, operating hours and entertainment schedules for your visit haven't been officially released just yet, so be sure to keep an eye on the Disney website or app for updates.

But rest assured, the magic of Disney combined with the sparkle of the holiday season means you're in for an unforgettable trip!
