Hey Rayana! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you reached out, and I'd love to help you out today. I absolutely adore visiting
Walt Disney World Resort in November. The weather is just perfect, and if you steer clear of Thanksgiving week, you'll have a wonderful time with fewer crowds.
Let's chat about all the exciting things happening at the Disney World theme parks in 2024. There are tons of new attractions and entertainment options to look forward to, like
Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening in June,
Country Bear Musical Jamboree and
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith making their awesome return over the summer, and the
new CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza opening this week at the heart of the World Celebration neighborhood.
Although we can't predict for sure if more attractions will be closed for refurbishment until November, the only attraction we don't have a reopening date for is
Test Track at EPCOT, which is temporarily closing starting on June 17, 2024. But keep in mind, we don't know when this attraction will reopen yet, so it might be up and running when you visit in November.
Now, let's touch base on the water parks. Typically, each water park undergoes annual refurbishment, but these maintenance periods are staggered, so at least one water park is always available. Right now,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is open, and
Disney's Blizzard Beach is closed. However, we can't say for certain which one will be open in November, as Disney will confirm operational hours for all parks and attractions roughly 3 months in advance. I recommend checking the Disney Parks Blogs for the latest news about all destinations, as well as the
Hours & Events Calendar page for updates on closures, opening times, and event schedules.
I hope this info helps, Rayana. Please feel free to come back
and ask more questions anytime. I want to make sure you're all set for your next magical adventure, and we're always here to help out a friend like you.
Cheers
Nilson
