    I would like to plan a Valentine's get away to Disney World for Feb 2013, is there anything special that is done in general at Magic Kingdom?

    Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question.

    Although nothing specific has been announced yet, we can speculate on what may be happening for Valentine's Day 2013 based on previous years' festivities. Special confectionery treats and baked goodies, adorned in pinks and reds and heart shaped sprinkles are very likely to be found along Main Street U.S.A. There's a possibility that the Castle Projection Show which takes place before the Wishes Fireworks (now called 'Celebrate the Magic' but formerly known as 'The Magic, The Memories and You') will take on a romantic, Valentine's theme for much of the month of February. You may even get to visit with Minnie Mouse for a photograph in her polka dot dress - however she replaces her dots with hearts at this romantic time of year!
