Ahoy there, Eduardo. Welcome to planDisney.
It looks like you’re interested in planning the ultimate Disney vacation! A
Land and Sea vacation allows you to relax aboard a Disney ship, as well as enjoy a magical dose of Disney at the theme parks. You can choose to visit Walt Disney World Resort before or after your cruise; either way, you’ll have a splendid time with your loved ones.
There are many lodging options for you to choose from during your time at the
Walt Disney World Resort. Some important factors to consider when
choosing hotels include how long you plan to stay, where the hotel is located and which hotel category (deluxe, moderate, value) you prefer. Since my children are young adults now (23- and 18-years-old), we prefer to stay in the EPCOT area. However, if you have younger children, staying closer to Magic Kingdom may be beneficial for you.
There are also endless Disney Cruise Line options for you to choose from as well. There are different durations of cruises, from short 3-night ones to longer sailings. Leaving from Port Canaveral, which is a popular port before or after a stay at the Walt Disney World Resort, you can sail on various
itineraries in the Caribbean and the
Bahamas. You’ll also get to decide which stateroom categories you’d like to stay in. I recommend checking out the
Disney Cruise Line website to see all the unique offerings and narrow down your many options. You can book your sailing on the website, then you’ll also have the option to add the convenient
Disney ground transportation before and/or after your cruise. You can take this between your Walt Disney World Resort and Port Canaveral; it can also be taken to and from Port Canaveral and Orlando International Airport.
When you are ready to add a Walt Disney Resort stay and ground transportation to your cruise vacation, please call (800) 951-3532. Eduardo, if you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to sail by
planDisney again.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
