We would like to plan a 10/2026 vacation. When are packages available? We would need to make payments.

Hiya, pal! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

I love that you’re already planning for 2026. I'm an avid vacation planner, so I totally get it! By thinking ahead you'll have plenty of time to chat with your traveling companions about what attractions, restaurants, and other experiences are on your “must-do” lists, and what everyone needs to create the most magical vacation possible.

2026 vacation packages aren’t available for booking quite yet, so you still have some time to plan and research. In recent years, vacation and hotel packages have become available in early to mid-summer, but last year was a little different as guests were able to begin making 2025 reservations in February 2024. So news about 2026 vacation packages may be right around the corner! I’d keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and Walt Disney World website for updates.

As far as making payments goes, there are different processes depending on what you purchase, but there is no official payment program. If you’re buying theme park tickets only, then the total balance has to be paid at the time of purchase. If you’re just booking a hotel room, then there will be a deposit equal to one night’s stay and the remaining balance is paid at check-in. If you’re purchasing a vacation package (tickets and hotel) then you will pay a $200 deposit when you make your reservation. After that, you will be able to make additional payments at any time and in any amount by calling a Cast Member or through your My Disney Experience account. In that case, the total is due 30 days before your check-in.

I hope this helps prepare you for your magical 2026 vacation! You can come right back if you have other planning questions or need recommendations for hotels, dining, or attractions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Happy planning!
