Welcome to planDisney Judith. Thank you for swinging by with your question.
Planning a Disney vacation is one of my favorite pastimes. Just like baseball, this activity brings me warm nostalgic feelings. Planning a year ahead of time gives you a great opportunity to set a budget and plan your visit without rushing. One of my favorite times to visit is right after the New Year in late January or early February. Late October and early November the weather is very similar as well. The weather is just right for this New Jersey native. Not too hot and not too cold, makes for an enjoyable stay.
If I am visiting with my family I start on the
Vacation Planning Page to get an idea of what offerings have been announced in terms of
Special Offers. If you have a specific set of dates you would like I always recommend booking one of the many
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels. If at the time of booking, there are no special offers with the dates you are going, you can always check back as close as 30 days to your arrival date to add any offers that may become available. Sometimes there are offers for theme park tickets, hotel offers for everyone,
Annual Passholders, military families, and sometimes even dining. If you aren’t comfortable building your own vacation online, you can always call for assistance and someone will be happy to help you plan your magical visit.
The options are limitless and there will be so much coming to the parks in 2024. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to open in Late 2024. This will be a musical journey with Tiana and some old and new friends she meets along the way. Check back on the Disney Parks Blog for updates.
I’m excited about the possibilities you have for planning your stay. If you have any other questions visit us again at

See ya real soon,
