I want to plan a vacation for July 2017. I know my husband, daughter and I will be going and think a friend might go with us. Can I purchase our package and add the friend when it gets closer to time?

    Hi Lynda,

Glad you are busy planning a summer vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Only a few more months until the magic begins!

A Magic Your Way Vacation Package is the easiest way to make a reservation. Not only it includes a stay at a Disney Resort hotel, but also Theme Park Tickets. And you can add a Disney Dining Plan as well. It is so convenient. Now, you can make modifications to your package without fees until 30 days before arrival.

Adding a Guest to a Hotel stay is easy, as long as you do not exceed the maximum room capacity. From three to four Guests should be no problem, but any more can be a challenge as you may need to modify your room type or even Resort hotel. To make these changes, it is best to speak to a vacation planning specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent. If you made a room-only reservation you would need to buy Theme Park Tickets, but remember that these are not refundable.

One last tip: you can make dining reservations up to 180 days in advance. However, note that it is easier to change down the number of Guests than to change up. If you think your friend may come, I suggest you make any reservations including her, and then adjust down if you need to. Oh, the My Disney Experience mobile app makes this process so easy... See you real soon!
