Planning a 2027 Walt Disney World vacation now is a brilliant idea. The earlier you start, the more time you have to save, research, and build a "practically perfect" itinerary. You'll also get to enjoy all the excitement that comes with anticipating a magical trip. Sometimes that countdown is half the fun!
As of today, Disney hasn’t officially announced when 2027 vacation packages will be released. If history is any guide, though, they usually become available in late spring or early summer of the preceding year. That means sometime around June 2026, you should be able to book a package that includes both tickets and your choice of resort accommodations. Once the packages go live, it's a good idea to act quickly. Popular resorts, especially those in the
Magic Kingdom or
EPCOT area, tend to fill up fast, and the sooner you book, the more likely you are to get your ideal dates and hotel.

Instagram for updates and ideas, and start thinking about the experiences that matter most to you (for example, rides, character dining, or special events). You can even start planning your daily schedule, looking at park hours, and thinking about how to maximize your time once you arrive.
Planning this far in advance might feel like a long countdown, but it’s all part of the fun. By the time June 2026 rolls around, you’ll be ready to book your dream vacation and start counting down the days to your unforgettable Disney adventure.
