Hi Paula,
Welcome to planDisney! I am so happy to know that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Looking at your anticipated arrival date, you are visiting at my favorite time of year. The winter holidays are so magical. With a family of six, there are two resort hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection that I recommend -
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Disney's Art of Animation Resort has family suites that sleep up to six adults with a kitchenette and two bathrooms. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort also sleep up to six adults and have a kitchen.
To check pricing, go to the
vacation package link and click on Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today. From there, you should be able to select the exact dates of your trip and see availability and pricing. Keep an eye on the
Special Offers as it gets closer to the dates of your visit. You do not want to wait too long before booking since you are visiting at such a busy time of year. Do check those Special Offers to see if one is released that is applicable to the dates of your visit.
When you price a vacation package, you can select the number of theme park ticket days. I suggest that you do at least four days so that you can visit each theme park at least once. Keep in mind that once you book your vacation package, you will need to
link that confirmation number in your
My Disney Experience account, so if you do not already have an account, create one.
Although character meals have been temporarily paused at some restaurants,
Cinderella's Royal Table is still quite lovely. On our most recent visit, Cinderella came out and spoke with Guests for a short while (from a distance). To view dining prices, go to the
dining list and check the home page of each restaurant. Click on View Menu and then select the meal period that you wish to view. We reviewed the
lunch menu at Cinderella's Royal Table prior to our trip.
As you continue to plan, be sure to make
Disney Park Pass system reservations once you have your vacation package booked and linked in My Disney Experience. I highly recommend that you make those Disney Park Pass system reservations as soon as possible and, at 60-days prior to your trip, make
advanced dining reservations. Dining reservations are a must-do during that time of year.
Paula, I am sending a little extra pixie dust to help you plan the perfect vacation for your family.
Magic and memories,
Donyell
