How do I plan a trip with two wheelchair bound children

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Kellie. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're beginning to plan a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You've certainly come to the right place. Let's chat!

The Walt Disney World Resort is committed to ensuring that all Guests have an inclusive, accessible, and, of course, magical visit to the theme parks. Your children are sure to enjoy lots of pixie-dusted adventures! Your first step in planning should be to check out the Accessibility page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. There you'll find lots of helpful planning information, tools, and resources. I also encourage you to explore the Services for Guests with Mobility Needs. There you'll find specific information about using a wheelchair in the theme parks and experiencing attractions with a mobility device. And don't forget to download the Accessibility Planning Guide and Recommendations. If, after reviewing all the information available online, you still have questions, you can email Disability Services at disability.services@disneyparks.com. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to assist you!

I very much recommend staying at a Disney Resort hotel. When you're a Guest of the Disney Resorts Collection, you're immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling even after you've left the theme parks! All Disney Resort hotels feature accessible rooms and offer accessible transportation to and from the theme parks.

I hope this was helpful, Kellie. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
