Hi, Cassia. I love talking details about anybody's Disney vacation so I'm more than happy to help!
Based on the number of people in your traveling party, and their ages, I recommend looking to
Disney's Art of Animation Resort for your accommodations. Selecting a family suite there will allow your entire party to stay together. These
spacious suites are themed after some favorite movies, including The Lion King, Cars and Finding Nemo. Perhaps checking availability for your dates and based on the character or movie preferences of the kids you're traveling with will result in the perfect themed suite for your family. Another bonus of a stay at this particular resort is the convenient access to
Disney Skyliner.
In your question, you specifically ask for single theme park recommendation. I have to tell you that choosing a single park is akin to choosing a favorite child, but if you insist that I must choose just one, I'd have to go with
Magic Kingdom. I love that it offers a little something for everyone, from
thrill rides to classics. Little ones seem to especially love the timelessly simple
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. When my family spends time at Magic Kingdom, we like to eat an early lunch at
Liberty Tree Tavern.
Be Our Guest Restaurant is also a popular choice. Oh, and you'll definitely want to keep an eye and ear out because the
character cavalcades that journey along the parade route are really fun, but they're also really spontaneous; think of them as an impromptu celebration of all things magical!
I also recommend making your way to Disney Springs. The
World of Disney store is a souvenir shopper's treasure trove. And if you're craving something sweet,
Gideon’s Bakehouse,
Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew or
AristoCrêpes are all worthy contenders.
I sure hope I've given you a great start, Cassia. If you think of additional questions as you plan, you know where to come for help. Don't be a stranger around here!
