Bright Suns, Jedi, and welcome to planDisney!
I love that you’ve got your mind set on visiting
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World. When you land on planet Batuu for the first time, you will be blown away by the details and accuracy to the Star Wars films and shows. It is my pleasure to guide you to one of the most interesting places you’ll ever see.
You can find the Star Wars land, Galaxy’s Edge, at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This is a theme park at Disney World that is also home to other experiences like
Toy Story Land,
Tower of Terror, and
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. You and your friend will need a valid form of admission, such as a single- or multi-day ticket or a Disney World annual pass to enter Hollywood Studios. You may also need to make a
theme park reservation online to ensure that you’re good to go on the day of your visit.
Galaxy’s Edge is a pretty large area towards the back of the theme park. And there’s no way you can miss it because as you get closer and closer to Batuu, the name of the planet that it’s on, you’ll see and hear things that you’ve grown to love about Star Wars.
When you’re there, you have to ride
Rise of the Resistance (it is the most high-tech ride I’ve ever been on), travel in the Millennium Falcon (your jaw will drop at the sight of it—it’s epic), and try blue or green milk. My favorite hang-out spot, especially when I’m with adults only, is
Oga’s Cantina. Make an advance dining reservation in the
My Disney Experience app to snag a spot in this Star Wars fan’s dream of a watering hole.
Get ready to venture to a galaxy far, far away, my friend. If you have additional questions as you plan your upcoming adventure,
reach out to us here at planDisney. Any of the panelists will be more than happy to help.
Magic always,
LeAndra
