Boo to you, Casandra, and welcome to
planDisney!
I’m excited to hEAR that you’re starting to plan your frightfully fun visit!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is full of haunting décor and fabulous treats, and I can’t wait for you to experience it in just a few months!
As part of the Halfway to Halloween celebration,
we recently heard from the Disney Parks Blog that
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party is officially returning to Disney California Adventure Park this Halloween season! According to the blog post, this separately ticketed, limited-capacity, after-hours event will return on select nights this fall, though we don’t have exact event dates or ticket information just yet. I recommend
staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for the big announcement about all the spook-tacular fun to come!
In the meantime, I have some information that may help you start planning your haunting holiday. Typically, Oogie Boogie Bash takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and usually begins around 6:00PM, but also includes early entrance into the park starting a few hours before the event. Last year, Oogie Boogie Bash tickets went on sale on July 13, though tickets sales were a bit delayed from past years due to the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort. Ticket pricing will vary depending on the event date you select, but last year, tickets ranged in price from $114 in mid-September to $169 in late October. Keep in mind that this was last year’s pricing, and pricing is subject to change at any time.
I have had the pleasure of attending Oogie Boogie Bash several times, and I’ve enjoyed it each and every time! It’s a great way to experience shorter attraction wait times, dress up for the season, munch on delicious treats, and encounter unique Disney Characters! I loved the haunting lights and projections of Villains Grove, and the entertaining Frightfully Fun Parade. There’s even specialty merchandise to check out! I highly recommend adding this event to your Halloween itinerary, Casandra, whether you’re planning an adults-only night, or bringing the family.
Please stop back with any additional questions, and stay tuned for the latest news about the Bash!
Happy hauntings,
Kristin
