Can I plan a trip for next year and make payments?

    Hey friend,

Welcome to planDisney! Planning your next Walt Disney World vacation this far in advance has so many advantages. For one, you skip the stress of any last minute planning woes altogether. Another advantage is that you definitely will be able to make installment payments!

Reservations for 2027 will likely open sometime either late this spring or early this summer. This information is based on what has happened in prior years and is subject to change. For planning purposes, you should definitely keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement. Once the window opens, you'll be able to book a vacation package with a small deposit and make incremental payments on it over time. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to your arrival date.

While you wait for the 2027 announcement, give some thought to which resort hotel you'll want to stay at. There are over 20 hotels to choose from. My family is still deciding which of these is our favorite, but so far the Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter have a special place in our hearts.

You'll also want to decide on your length of stay and whether you'll want to Park Hop - the Ticket Buying Guide is a great resource that can help with that decision. Additionally, use this time to think about whether you'd like the feel of an all-inclusive vacation which can be achieved with a Dining Plan, and decide on any experiences from the Enchanting Extras Collection that you might be interested in adding on 60 days prior to your arrival date. You can also book restaurant reservations at that point, so give some thought to which table service restaurants you might want to dine at. My family loves to enjoy Character Dining, so we prioritize these experiences on most visits. Finally, when you're ready to book remember to take a look at the Special Offers page for any current promotions that can be applied to your trip.

I know planning for a Disney World trip this far in advance can make you feel antsy since there are limited action steps you can take right now, but these suggestions will help you maximize your booking time. You'll breeze right through the process knowing everything you want up front, so you'll already be ahead of the game. I hope this information is helpful. If you need more help with planning, come on back. We'll see ya real soon!
