How do i plan a trip for next year and pay on the reservation till its time to go?

Hey Howdy Hey Ann and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about planning and paying for your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I would be happy to give you a little more insight into the process going forwards.

As you begin planning your upcoming trip, there are several ways you can approach this. You are more than welcome to check out all that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer online. You will be able to browse around to check out Disney Resorts Collection hotels, theme park ticket pricing as well as the 4 theme parks and 2 water parks you have the options for visiting. Once you are ready to start planning and pricing out your vacation, Disney does have a Vacation Planning site that may be able to get you started and point you in the right direction. You will be able to Start Planning your Disney Vacation and this should walk you through the steps to select hotel accommodations, theme park tickets and everything you should need for your experience.

If this is your first time or you just feel a little overwhelmed by the process, not to worry, I've got some friends that can help! The other option you have is to look into travel agents for assistance in this process. Not all travel agencies are created equally, so you would want to do an internet search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planners". These agencies are recognized by Disney for going through extra steps and Disney courses for advanced knowledge on planning vacations. You might also see special distinctions that are officially given by Disney to them such as "Platinum EarMarked" agencies to acknowledge their expertise and experience. The best part about this process, it's free! You should not see any extra charges for the expert level of attention and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the fun parts and let your agent do the heavy lifting!!

No matter the steps you take to book your vacation, there are some unavoidable processes to go through when it comes to payment. If you book a vacation package with Disney that includes hotel accommodations and theme park tickets, you will be required to put a down payment of $200.00, pricing subject to change, for your reservation. Your final bill will be due 30 days before your date of arrival and either with your travel agent or from your My Disney Experience, you will be able to pay on it monthly, weekly or one lump sum, your choice!

I hope this information can help get the ball rolling. You always have your new-found 'Ohana to lean on for any further questions you may have, so feel free to reach out and let us know!

    Happy Planning,
