Want to plan a trip for late Jan 2011. Is there any way to book online now. Don't want to wait until later in the year, also what are the temperatures like then. We have been there in June, July, Aug & Sept..Want to try a different month. Thanks!!

    Hi Michelle!

You can not make an on-line reservation until the actual 2011 pricing has been released.  Historically, rates are released in mid to late summer for the upcoming year.  However, by calling Disney you can reserve a hotel room now; they will charge you for a  single night's rate based on this year and then automatically adjust your rate when the 2011 pricing comes out.

Packages can only be booked once the 2011 rates are released.  However, you can easily convert a room only reservation to a package by simply calling later in the year.  Also, if any applicable discounts come out between now and then, you can call and try to have those applied to your reservation; there are usually limited numbers and conditions so not all discount codes will apply.

Finally, keep in mind when you will be 180 days out from your trip as that is when you can make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR).  You can make an ADR even if you don't have a room reservation yet.  I recommend making ADRs as soon as possible because that gives you more options in where to eat and at what time.

By the way, the average high in January is around 71 degrees with the average low being 49 degrees.  However, it can get much hotter and colder than that.  The record high is 87 degrees and the record low is 19 degrees (brrrrr).

Enjoy planning your next trip to the World!
