I would like to plan a trip for January 2017 for my daughter's birthday. How early can I book my hotel and dining plans? And are there any special offers for children celebrating their birthday at disney?

Welcome Meagan! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad to hEAR you are planning a family vacation for celebrating your daughter’s birthday. How exciting! It is going to be an unforgettable moment.
You can already make your room-only Disney Resort Hotel reservation for January 2017 by calling the Walt Disney World Resort. Updated prices and vacation packages are released in the summer for the following year, so, if you desire, when new prices come out, you will be able to add theme park tickets and a Disney Dining Plan to your existing reservation.
Regarding birthdays, Disney is absolutely the best place on Earth for celebrations. There is a lot you can do to make your girl’s day even more special. You can make a reservation for a Character Dining Experience, order a special birthday cake to be delivered to the restaurant of your preference or arrange an in-room celebration if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. And don’t forget to ask for a complimentary Happy Birthday button for her!
Hope this information helps your planning. Come back again to visit us soon.
    Have a “pixie-dusted” day
