Let me be the first to wish you a Happy Halloween, Savanna! While we are still several months away from the party season, it is never too early to get excited for Halloween at Disney World!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held at Magic Kingdom on select nights from mid-August until Halloween night! It is truly one of my family’s favorite events at Disney World! We know it is Halloween when we see the Headless Horseman make his haunting ride along the parade route through Magic Kingdom! I also love that kids and adults alike can all participate in attending the party in costume
(following the costume guidelines, of course) and go trick-or-treating through Magic Kingdom! Also, Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is NOT to be missed! It usually runs twice during the party!
Tickets for the Halloween party will most likely go on sale in mid-May. Here is a PRO TIP for you, Savanna! Tickets for the Halloween party (and Christmas party too) typically go on sale for Guests with existing Disney World hotel reservations, before they go on sale to the general public. For example, last year, the Halloween party tickets went on sale on May 15 for Guests with existing reservations. They went on public sale a week later, on May 22. So, mark your calendar with a jack-o-lantern (with Mickey ears, of course) for mid-May! The official sale date will be announced later this spring. Check the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disney World website throughout the spring for the big announcement!
And, as a bonus PRO TIP, I always like to share that Halloween party ticketholders can traditionally enter Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM even though the party doesn’t begin until 7:00 PM! Take advantage of those party perk bonus hours!
Dreams do come true!
