I want to plan a trip for feb 2016. I know they did a leap year party in 2012. What are the chances of that happening again? Should i reserve a room anyway before they release info? when do they normally make an announcement about it?

Hello Rebecca and thanks for bringing such an interesting question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It's almost impossible to guess if there will be a repeat of the One More Disney Day 24 hour event held at the Magic Kingdom Park on February 29th 2012, so my best advice is to keep a keen eye on The Disney Parks Blog for all future announcements and updates.
If you want to plan a future trip to Walt Disney World Resort in February 2016, I guess you're just going to have to take a leap of faith
    Have a great Disney day.
