I want to plan a trip to disneyworld how do I go about it. Thank you

Hello Mary! You came to the best place to begin your planning! Let’s get you started!

The first thing you’ll want to do is set up your My Disney Experience account! This can be done on the Walt Disney World website! Once you arrive at the site, look for the “My Disney Experience” icon. Click the icon and follow the prompts to set up your account. You’ll need this account to keep track of your hotel, dining, and theme park reservations! It’s a great planning tool!

The fun part comes next! You’ll need to decide which hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection that you are going to call your “Disney home!” The Walt Disney World Resort offers resorts for every budget - value, moderate, and deluxe! In the value category, I recommend Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! With character art, murals, and statues at every turn, this resort will make you feel surrounded by the joy of Disney! The pools are also fantastically themed!

In the moderate category, I recommend Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort - Gran Destino Tower, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and Disney Caribbean Beach Resort! All of these resorts provide the feel of a relaxing vacation getaway while providing all of the benefits and conveniences of staying at a Disney owned and operated resort! My favorite of these three is Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort - Gran Destino Tower! I feel like I’m getting a deluxe resort hotel at a moderate price! It is such a beautiful resort! All of these resorts, including Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, offer the early theme park entry benefit!

In the deluxe category, I recommend Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! All of these resorts make for the perfect Walt Disney World Resort vacation! In addition to the early theme park entry benefit, these deluxe resorts also offer the extended evening theme park hours benefit!

Finally, Mary, I recommend that you book a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package! A package includes resort hotel accommodations and theme park tickets for the number of days that you want to visit the parks! Once you select a hotel on the website, you'll see an option for "package.” You'll want to make that selection for the room and ticket package!
