Hi, Shawnica!
Thanks so much for visiting us today. We love to help people plan, so let's get to it!
The first things you will have to decide is when you're coming and where you're staying. After deciding on a date and choosing a
Disneyland Resort Hotel (or a
Good Neighbor hotel), it's time to purchase a package or make reservations and purchase tickets.
After getting your tickets, you will have to make
park reservations, but if you buy your tickets directly on the Disneyland Resort's website, you will make reservations automagically during the purchase process.
Then comes the best part, in my opinion: It's time to plan your days! You will
discover attractions in both theme parks that fit your interests in your research, and this step is crucial in crafting a trip that fits your expectations. You will also find many dining experiences that range from a classic on-the-go corn dog to
refined tasting menus that pair with California wines.
Once you have a good idea of what you want to do, I suggest downloading the
Disneyland Mobile App roughly 70 days before your arrival. You will use it to link your tickets and make dining reservations 60 days ahead.
Finally, you will also use the app to enter the parks and purchase
Genie+ and any Individual Lightning Lanes you may want to use.
And this, in a nutshell, is how you plan an amazing Disneyland Resort trip, Shawnica! Let us know if you have questions about any of these steps, and we’ll be here to help, okay?
May the magic be with you,
Julie
