when can we plan a trip to disneyland in LA for 2023?

Hiya, John! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is one of my favorite things to do, so let’s get started! As you’ve probably noticed on Disneyland.com, Vacation Packages and Disneyland Resort Hotel reservations are currently only available through December of 2022. Usually, both Vacation Packages and hotel reservations open for the following year by the end of summer, typically sometime in August. I recently checked with a Cast Member, and she told me to expect next year’s rates to be available by mid-September. So, I recommend checking Disneyland.com next month for any updates. You can also check back with planDisney to see if we have any information to pass along.

Now for some additional dates you’ll want to keep in mind in 2023. I recommend setting reminders in your calendar for all of these important dates, so you don’t forget them! If you choose to purchase your theme park tickets separately from a Vacation Package, you can go ahead and make your park reservations up to 120 days in advance, subject to availability. So, this would put you at about April 9, 2023, based on your arrival day. In addition, you can start booking dining reservations up to 60 days in advance, which would put you around June 8, 2023.

Last but not least, I’m happy to report that starting August 8, 2022, Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests can once again enjoy early entry into Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! This is a huge perk for Guests staying on-property, and I hope you can take advantage of it upon your arrival next year!

    Happy planning,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
