Hi there, Brenda! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by with a great question!
Walt Disney World is ready to welcome Guests back to the magic. You can certainly
book a vacation for late December and enjoy the magic of the Most Magical Place on Earth during the holidays! I can hear the jingle bells and see the shiny ornaments already, and I’m sure you can too!
While that magic you know and love is waiting for you, you’ll indeed find a few changes when planning a Disney Vacation. One of these is the need for reservation of
Disney Park Passes. These are required in addition to valid Theme Park Admission in order to enjoy a day at a Disney Theme Park. You can check the
Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar to see which Theme Parks are available on which days. It is a good idea to take a look at this calendar before you solidify your dates.
Regarding special needs accommodations, I recommend that you contact the office of
Services for Guests with Disabilities. They are well equipped with all the resources and information you will need for your individual situation! On their website, you will find information on services such as Accessible Parking, Service Animals,
Autism & Cognitive Disabilities, and so much more!
Brenda, I hope that you can enjoy a year-end trip to Walt Disney World that suits the needs of your individual travel party! Here at planDisney, it is our pleasure to help with any aspect of your travel planning, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us again anytime we can help in the future!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
