Hey there, Yvette, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s fantastic to have you here at the panel to start your
Disney Vacation planning! It’s never too soon to start planning your next Walt Disney World Vacation. And with a little help and determination, you will be a Disney Vacation planning pro in no time!
Yvette, in my opinion, the most important Disney Vacation planning step is deciding where you are going to get your rest! While Orlando has many resort options, there’s nothing better than staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Staying in a resort hotel truly adds an immersive experience to your visit. You even get the opportunity to use Disney Transportation and let Disney handle all of the resort navigation for you! Resorts range in categories from Value Resorts - which are easier on the budget - to Deluxe Resorts - which usually offer more amenities and experiences. My resort hotel pick is usually
Disney’s Pop Century Resort which offers, cool theming, a great price point, and fantastic transportation options.
The next step is to determine the number of days you’d like to visit the
Theme Parks. This will help determine the number of Theme Park Days you should purchase. I typically recommend 4-day Theme Park Tickets, with the standard 1-Theme Park Per Day ticket option.
Park Hopping is a great option, but in my opinion, it can complicate planning for a first visit. Securing your resort hotel reservation and Theme Park Tickets are not all of the planning steps that are needed, but they will get you started on the path.
