plan a trip from Australia to Disneyland California 12/29/25 to 01/02/26 but I can't find opening times anywhere on the website in order to purchase our tickets, the theme park calendar only shows up to August 2025. Thanks in advance.

Hiya Lisa, and welcome to planDisney!

What an incredible trip you're planning, traveling all the way from Australia to The Happiest Place on Earth! I'm sorry to hear you've encountered a bit of a hiccup in the magic while trying to find those park reservations. Let's work together to unravel this mystery, because I want your planning to be as smooth as a ride on "it's a small world"!

First things first, it sounds like you might be navigating the Australian version of the Disneyland website. While that’s a fantastic resource with lots of great info, it typically encourages Australian Guests to connect with a trusted travel agent for booking tickets and vacation packages. This is often the easiest path for our international friends!

Now, if you've been exploring the U.S. version of the Disneyland website and are seeing dates only through August 2025, there are a couple of reasons why this might be happening. One possibility is that you might be viewing the Magic Key holder reservation calendar. This is designed specifically for Magic Key (annual pass) holders, and their reservation availability typically extends up to 90 days in advance, meaning your late December dates wouldn't show there just yet. It's also possible that you've stumbled upon the Disneyland Anniversary Ticket Offer on the booking page. While these special tickets are a fantastic value, they are only valid for visits through August 14, 2025. If you've selected these tickets, the system will only show you available dates within that validity window. To see dates beyond August for your end-of-year trip, you'll need to make sure you're selecting the standard theme park ticket option during the purchasing process.

For the dates you’re seeking, you should be able to see availability on the standard theme park reservation calendar. This calendar typically displays park reservation dates 180 days in advance. With your trip being at the end of December, I can confirm that I’m seeing those dates on my end as of the time I’m writing this—but I’m also visiting the webpage from within the U.S., so that might make a difference.

So, Lisa, if after checking these possibilities and ensuring you're looking at the standard theme park ticket calendar, you're still experiencing difficulty seeing dates beyond August, please don't let it dim your sparkle! I highly recommend connecting directly with a friendly Cast Member. You can either call the tickets hotline or send an email. Since you'll be calling from Australia, the email option might be the most convenient to avoid international calling charges. Finally, Lisa, if you have access to a travel agent in Australia who specializes in Disney vacations, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to them! They may have special access to booking systems and might be able to see additional availability or assist with your specific booking needs directly.

I truly hope this helps you get your tickets sorted and your countdown officially started, Lisa! Planning a Disneyland journey from across the globe is such a special experience, and I can’t wait for you to make the most magical memories. We can't wait to welcome you to the magic! Wishing you a truly enchanting trip!
