We would like to plan a trip to Disneyland/California Adventure for this Spring and are flexible on dates. What days of the week and which weeks this spring are projected to be the least busy?

    Hello, Jaime!

I'm so excited that you came to planDisney with such a great question! Being flexible will do wonders for your Disneyland Resort trip, so let's get to your planning to make it happen!

I love visiting Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on low-crowd days, so I'll share my best tips for doing the same.

First, if dates are flexible, I learned to prioritize weekdays such as Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You can use those days to hit hot attractions and then use Friday and Saturday to take the atmosphere in and enjoy some exceptional dining at Napa Rose or Carthay Circle, for example.

I also avoid peak weeks during the Spring Break since those weekdays tend to draw higher crowds, so make sure to compare your available dates to the Spring Break calendar in California.

Another tip to make the most of your time at the theme parks is to arrive early, preferably around 30 minutes before the scheduled park opening. This will allow you to get through security early and get short queues for the early hours of the morning.

Finally, don't forget to download the Disneyland Mobile App at least 65 days before your trip. The app will allow you to make dining reservations 60 days before your visit, and it will help you get familiar with the Disney Genie and Disney Genie+, the services that will make your days even better at the Disneyland Resort!

As you get closer to your trip and more questions come up, please don't hesitate to come back. We'll be here to help you create a fantastic trip!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
