I want to plan a trip with my 2 adult children. I am disabled and will require a scooter and a walk in shower. We want to stay at Polynesian with Theme Park View. How do I find more information on room layouts?

Hey there, Gail, and welcome to planDisney!

Moms make so much magic for us when we're little. It's such a blessing for us to get to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth with y'all when we're all grown up. My mom is also an ECV user, and we always have a blast when we stay together.

One way to check out room layouts at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is to tap the View Photos link on the Room Rates page. Since you're looking for an accessible room, I recommend searching YouTube. I've found a lot of detailed walkthrough videos that show off every single available feature for Guests of differing abilities.

For scooter rentals, I recommend renting from a company like ScooterBug, the Disney Featured Provider. They'll have an ECV waiting at your resort for your arrival and pick it up at the end of your vacation. Since Disney Resort Transportation in all its many forms is ECV and wheelchair accessible, you'll be set to glide to each of your Disney destinations with ease.

Gail, have the best time making memories with your family. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
