Plan on traveling to Disney world to Celebrate my son birthday 5/25/2014 he will be turning 3 years old. Any suggestion on where to start theme parks? getting a hopper pass: i also need a great character dinning on 5/25. Help ?

    Hi Jessica!

Congratulations on your magical celebration! You are not only giving your son an amazing day at Walt Disney World, but also memories you both will cherish forever.

If you are only visiting for the one day, I would recommend visiting only one or two of the theme parks. There are so many things to experience and do, and trying to fit more than that into a day quickly becomes overwhelming.  Scheduling your favorites is a must, but make sure you still leave time for some spontaneity, as you can never predict when unplanned treasures and magical moments will pixie-dust your vacation.  The Magic Kingdom will of course be a favorite for your son, with so many experiences he will feel were made just for him.  Perhaps your character dining choice can help dictate what other park you visit.  You could start your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom and enjoy breakfast with Safari Donald and friends at the Tusker House Restaurant.  The food is wonderful and Donald always "quacks" us up!  Starting at Animal Kingdom is also great because the animals are usually more active in the morning.  If Disney Junior characters are some of your son's favorites, I recommend the Disney Junior Play 'n Dine breakfast at Hollywood Studios, Hollywood & Vine.  My son loves dancing and dining with his television friends.  After, you can test your shooting skills on Toy Story Midway Mania! Last, but certainly not least perhaps you could finish off your wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom by exploring Epcot and enjoying dinner at The Garden Grill with Chip 'n Dale.  The food is fresh and delicious and my kids really like that the restaurant slowly rotates, giving you great views of Living with the Land. Make sure you visit my friend Crush at The Seas with Nemo & Friends while at Epcot.

I hope this helps plan your son's magical birthday.  Please stop back by if there is anything else I may assist you with.
