I want to plan my 1st time vacation for my wife and child in March, my daughter will be turning 5. I'd love to know if she will be able to meet and greet characters. Get pics with them or high five them at least.

Hey there, Kane! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m so excited you’re hEAR planning your 1st vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

There is so much to see and do for a Princess turning five! Since you’ll be celebrating her birthday, make sure to stop by the Front Desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel or any Guest Relations location to pick up a complimentary birthday button.

Now, Kane, let’s talk about meeting and greeting some favorite faces! Currently you’ll find characters popping up all around the Walt Disney World Resort and I’m happy to share that even more character interactions with photo opportunities are returning soon.

Another one of my favorite ways to experience characters is through select dining experiences. At EPCOT, we love Garden Grill Restaurant where you can find Mickey and some friends in the cutest farm-inspired overalls. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Hollywood & Vine is a great spot to see Minnie in her seasonal attire. And... over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park you’ll find Donald dressed ready for a safari at Tusker House Restaurant!
Kane, I hope this helps as you’re looking ahead to March and dreaming about walking down Main Street, U.S.A. with your little girl. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions and have a Magical visit!
