I plan on taking my 2 yr old son to Disneyland on January 27th (he will be 3 on the 29th), can he still get a Birthday Button, or does he have to go on his actual birthday? If not, what cool things can he get to do?

    Hi there, Pamela!

I’m so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question. I hope your family—especially the birthday boy—is looking forward to visiting the Happiest Place on Earth very soon!

Yes, you may absolutely pick up a complimentary birthday button for him at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at Guest Services in Disney California Adventure Park, even if you’re not visiting the Disneyland Resort on the actual date of his birthday. It can be customized with a name so he’ll receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members and fellow Guests all day!

If you have any table-service meals planned, let your server know you’re celebrating a birthday because you may receive some extra magic during your dining experience. You can also choose to purchase a custom decorated bakery cake to enjoy after your meal at any table-service restaurant for a memorable birthday surprise. These celebration cakes come in a variety of sizes, flavors and themes and can be ordered in advance by calling (714) 781-DINE (3463).

I hope this helps, Pamela, and that you enjoy a memorable Disneyland Resort vacation with your little prince. Please visit me again with more questions as your planning continues!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
