I plan on taking my 12 yr old to the Frozen Ever After and Magic Kingdom Fireworks dessert parties. Are we able to take any desserts that we don't eat back to the hotel? We don't like wasting food, so having the option to take it with us is a plus!

Hi, Nicole!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

In my opinion, ending a day at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks with a dessert party is practically perfect in every way!  By purchasing admission to a dessert party, you can avoid having to arrive extra early to find a good spot for fireworks viewing.  Instead, you can relax and enjoy some sweet treats, knowing that you have some of the best views of the show.

At both the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase and the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace in Magic Kingdom Park, the desserts are served buffet-style.  There's no need to worry about wasting food.  Since it is a buffet, you may enjoy as much or as little as you please.  However, if you find you have some leftovers on your plate, I'm sure a Cast Member could bring you a to-go container.

I see that your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is planned for this December.  Be sure to explore all that the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer during the holiday season.  I think you will find that visiting during the holidays makes the experience even more magical!

If you have any other vacation planning questions, please let us know.  We love to help!  Have a magical day!
