we plan on staying for 7 nights at a disney resort. On day 6 that we are there my daughter turns 10. Would she still be considered age 9?

Hey, howdy, hey, Amanda, and welcome to planDisney; the most enchanted place on the internet to get answers to your specific Disney vacation questions. Birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort are extra special. We have celebrated our kids' birthdays as well as my own and created core memories to last a lifetime.

Young Mouseketeers on a Disney Resort Hotel Package who celebrate their birthdays during their trips are extra special Guests of Mickey Mouse. Their birthdays do not affect prices for meals, dining plans, or ticket prices because the first day of the vacation package begins before the birthday. If you were to purchase any Individual or Special Event Tickets after her birthday they would need to be for Age 10+.

planDisney Pro Tip: Mickey has a couple of easy ways to make birthdays special. Celebration Cakes are a delicious way to say "Happy Birthday!" and Birthday Buttons can be picked up at Guest Relations and the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel.

Amanda, enjoy a magical Disney adventure filled with fun, sun, and hopefully a delicious birthday cake. Please feel free to stop by again and write me back directly for more Disney vacation planning tips.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
