Hi, Natalie!
Adding on the Disney Dining Plan depends on your eating habits. If you plan to do one table service meal per day, then I think it is worth it. With two teenagers, planning for buffets or all-you-care-to-eat dining locations might be a great way for you to go. These can get a bit pricey, so by having the Dining Plan credits, you can budget ahead and have some wonderful meals. If you do add the plan, I suggest making all your
dining reservations ahead of time to get the most value. If you decide to add it on,
let me know and I will be happy to give you some dining suggestions for each park.
If you add on the Disney Dining Plan, each member of your travel party will receive a refillable beverage mug. This is good for unlimited refills of your favorite soft drinks, coffee, or tea at your resort's food court. If you decide to not get the Dining Plan, you can purchase a mug and pay out of pocket for it with a cost of around $15.50 plus tax (prices subject to change). At the end of your vacation, take your mug home as a fun souvenir!
Good luck as you plan your magical vacation. There are so many choices with resorts, tickets, and dining options, so let us know if we can help with your vacation planning! Have fun!
