We plan to stay 8 nights at Disney Art of Animation In Jan 2014. Our kids are 3 and5 and we fell in love of the Lion King Family room. But one concern: with small kids, would you take a hotel closer to Magic Kingdom park to avoid long transfers?THANKS!

    Hi Alexandra!

You are going to have the most amazing time in a Lion King Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You can often find me recommending the Magic Kingdom Resort area, but honestly Alexandra, I do not think you should change your reservation. Although routes are always subject to change, currently Disney's Art of Animation offers dedicated bus service to guests, meaning the buses will not be making any other stops at Resort Hotels. Again, this can always change based on crowd levels, but if you are lucky enough to experience dedicated buses, it's a huge time saver! The Family Suite, in my opinion, is a phenomenal amenity with small children, as is the larger than life theming throughout the property. The Big Blue Pool will entertain your family for hours.

I know it's common to second guess your Resort Hotel when you begin searching the many options, but rest assured your choice is a great one. Have a wonderfully magical time, Alexandra!

    Best wishes,
