Hi Deborah,
Thanks for stopping by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about Theme Park Tickets. Let me try to guide you in the right direction.
Theme Park Tickets can be valid from one day up to ten days. The more days you add to a ticket, the lower the cost per day it becomes. For example, the difference between a 5-day ticket and a 6-day ticket is only $15.
You can add a couple of options to the base tickets. The Water Park Fun & More Option gives you access to additional experiences like miniature golf, and access to two water parks. The Park Hopper Option lets you visit more than one Theme Park on the same day, without using an extra day from a ticket. These options have a fixed cost based on the number of days you select. For example the cost for the Park Hopper Option for a 5-day one-park-per-day ticket, is $69, but it gives you the convenience of being able to visit more than one Theme Park every day.
My family always gets the Park Hopper option. We love to dine at a Table-Service restaurant inside a Theme Park (usually at Epcot - so many choices!) and we typically hop among parks. Also, we do take advantage of evening Extra Magic Hours, one of the great benefits for staying at a Disney Resort hotel.
One last tip: the
My Disney Experience mobile app gives you real time wait times. Combined with a Park Hopper Option, you can maximize your fun, while minimizing the wait times. See you real soon!
Ricardo.
