Plan to stay at Contemporary and want to know which Garden building/room is closest to get to monorail. We dont care about the view from room, but want closest to to transportation and dining. What should we request when booking?

Greetings, Anita, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for your excellent question regarding the Garden Wing Guest Rooms at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

What a spectacular choice of accommodations, right beside Magic Kingdom Park, Anita! I am confident you'll enjoy the Guest Room amenities and appointments, which I believe are stellar. In selecting your Guest Room, keeping proximity to the Resort Monorail in mind, you'll need to consider the building closest to the Tower building which is the first building you will see as you exit the Tower building. This Garden Wing building will afford a view of either the parking lot or the main "Feature Pool".

Recreation at this Disney Resort hotel is plentiful, with one of my favorites being "Movies Under the Stars" showing complimentary Disney movie screenings on select nights and the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage which sets off from this Resort hotel for a cruise through Seven Seas Lagoon to watch Wishes nighttime spectacular fireworks show, isn't that just the greatest thing ever?

Keep checking for periodic special offers in building your inclusive Magic Your Way Vacation Package.

    Best Disney Wishes!
