We plan to spend the morning of our last day in either EPCOT or MK before heading over to Downtown Disney. Which resort would you use as a transfer from EPCOT to DD or from MK to DD.

Hi! There are many options to get to Downtown Disney, but these are the ones that I think will be easiest and quickest for you from Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

From the Magic Kingdom you have a couple of options to get to Downtown Disney. First, you can walk to the Contemporary and take a bus from there. If you would like to enjoy the monorail, take it to the Grand Floridian, Contemporary or Polynesian and catch a bus.

From Epcot, I would recommend taking the bus to the Saratoga Springs resort. From this resort, you can take advantage of a walkway between the resort and Downtown Disney. Depending on how fast you walk, you can get there in about 5-10 minutes. Saratoga Springs also has a boat which goes back and forth across the lagoon. Usually it is much quicker to walk, but the boat ride is also an enjoyable way to get there.

Boat service to Downtown Disney is also available from the Port Orleans and Old Key West resorts, but the shortest route is from Saratoga Springs.
