I plan on running the glass slipper challenge in Feb. 2016. The kids races are scheduled for Fri/Sat, do we choose the date? Will the kids races conflict with the 10k? Would it be possible for me to run the 5k and the kids do their races?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marie!

I'm excited to hear you are interested in participating in the 2016 Glass Slipper Challenge. You're also selecting a runDisney race weekend perfect for royal families of all ages. You are correct, you will have the option to choose Friday or Saturday for the Kids' Races, making it very convenient for you to select the day that works best with your race-cation schedule.

And no worries, there will be absolutely no conflict between the Kids' Races and the 5K or 10K events. So you could run all three races AND have your little ones participate in a race just for them.

The 5K will be held at 6:00am Friday with the Kids' Races beginning around 9:00am. The 10K will be held at 5:30am with the Kids' Races beginning again at 9:00am with all events taking place in the same area. In fact, your finish line will be their finish line, too.

Don't forget to let everyone wear their Finishers Medallions into the theme parks. Cast Members love recognizing runners, especially the littlest ones.

I hope this helps to ease your mind as you begin planning, Marie. Oh, and mark your calendar, registration opens to the public for this enchanted weekend on July 14th. I hope to hear from you again.
