I plan to run the Star Wars 5k with my son and my daughter wants to run the kids race . It appears the races are at 2 different locations. Will we be able to make both races on Friday or do I need to schedule my daughter for Saturday?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

This is an excellent question! Working out race logistics without knowing what to expect can be tough, but I am here to help!

You will absolutely be ok running the 5K with your son and getting your daughter to the Kids' Races. The 5K begins at 6:00am at Epcot and the Kids' Races at 11:30am, plenty of time for you to head back to your resort after your race, freshen up and take event transportation over to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. And if you plan on driving, you would definitely have time as you could head straight to the Complex from Epcot.

Another thing to consider is your daughter's age. The Kids' Races held on Friday are for children aged 8 and under, while Saturday's races are for children aged 13 and under. So if she falls between the 8-13 age bracket, she would need to run on Saturday.

I hope this helps, Jennifer! Please let me know if you should have any additional questions as you continue planning and preparing to take on The Dark Side.
