Bright Suns, Jennifer! I'm so glad you decided to stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel today to ask us your question about your upcoming trip to
Batuu. Since you're taking off in just a few days, I'm happy to walk you through the
boarding group process for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Timing is important when you've got younglings in tow, right?
Once you've tapped your
MagicBand to enter
Disney's Hollywood Studios for the day, you are able to join a boarding group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance using the
My Disney Experience app. The boarding groups have been going very quickly first thing in the morning when the Theme Park opens, so be sure to get there a little bit before the official opening time so you can make sure you're inside when the virtual queue goes live. Once you have your boarding group assigned, you are free to leave the Theme Park if you want. You'll get a notification on your phone when your boarding group has been called and you'll also be given a time by which you need to scan into the attraction with your MagicBand. Typically you'll have around two hours, but that timeframe is subject to change so make sure to read your notification carefully. You won't lose your boarding group if it hasn't been called yet when you decide to leave Disney's Hollywood Studios, but once your group has been called you will need to return to the attraction within your given window of time in order to ride.
'Til the Spire, Jennifer, and may the Force be with you!
