When we make our resort/tickets/dining plan reservations, when will we see this appear on our credit card bill? Will it be an immediate charge or will it bill when we arrive at the resort? Just trying to make sure we have our trip paid for in advance.

    Hi Susan,

Thanks for writing.  When you hold a dinner reservation with a credit card, nothing is actually charged until you either dine, or fail to appear for your reservation.  For meals that need to be pre-paid (dinner shows, etc.) the charges appear on the next billing cycle in my experience.  Resort deposits also generally appear on the next regular billing cycle, and any subsequent payments appear on their respective billing cycles.  If you are booking a "room-only" package, the balance is generally due when you arrive at your resort and check-in.  I hope this helps!  Happy planning!
