Renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) is a convenient way to explore the parks while you're currently recovering. I've rented a wheelchair while visiting the parks due to temporary physical issues, and it really saved our vacation. It's an easy process, and the rental location is outside Disneyland Park. You will want to arrive in the morning since availability isn't guaranteed, and it is possible for them to run out of ECVs for the day.
I understand having questions about accessing the parks while utilizing the rental, and luckily, Disneyland Resort has lots of
information available for Guests with
mobility challenges. Please check this out ahead of your visit for the smoothest park day! It has helpful hints for safely operating your ECV, information about accessing Attractions, and more.
And the good news is that there are designated areas near major Attractions where you can park your ECV while you ride. You'll be using zones marked for stroller and ECV parking close to the entrance of an Attraction. Spots are also located near dining and merchandise locations. A friendly Cast Member will be happy to direct you to these spots if you don't immediately spot them. Just ask! They're always ready to assist.
