I want to plan a quick trip for the weekend. How should I go about buying tickets. I have a 4 ur old and 7 year old. I know Magic Kingdom is a must but what other park is good for their age and is there a two park ticket deal I can buy?

Hey there, Jeorjeanne! I’m so glad you’ve stopped by with your question. Here at planDisney, it’s our pleasure to help all Guests with their Disney plans!

It sounds like you will soon be making a weekend trip with your little ones to the Most Magical Place on Earth! How amazing! Tickets are available for sale right on the Disney World website or you can call Disney Reservations to book by telephone. However, before you purchase Park Tickets, check out the online availability calendar for Park Pass reservations for the days you wish to visit. Due to capacity limits, each Guest will need a valid theme park Ticket plus a Park Pass Reservation for each day they wish to visit each Theme Parks. Tickets are available for a single day or multiple day visits, and each subsequent day is offered at a discount! If you are a Florida resident, there are specially-priced Tickets for you as well. There are no specials specifically for two days, but you can check out all Special Offers here!

In addition to visiting Magic Kingdom Park, you can’t go wrong with Disney's Animal Kingdom for your little ones. There are so many attractions and animal encounters that are sure to please all ages! Check out the Experience Updates Theme Parks pages for the latest on which Parks are open during this time, and also what to expect during your visit regarding enhanced distancing, masking, and cleaning protocols! Of course, if your children enjoy Toy Story, you’ll also want to consider a visit to Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where they can visit Andy’s back yard and visit Woody and friends! Take a look at this guide full of recommendations to make trips for little ones as magical as possible.

Jeorjeanne, I hope this information helps you plan the most amazing weekend getaway for yourself and your children. If you have yet to find a place to stay, consider a Disney Resort Hotel, where you’ll never have to leave the magic from the very beginning of your trip to the end. Please know that we are here for you and would love the chance to see you again whenever we can help you in your planning!

    See ya real soon!
