I plan on purchasing a magic key pass for myself and my mom and was wondering if I can put more than the $179 down? Thanks

    Hi Charyl! Welcome to planDisney.

Your question brought a big smile to my face because I just love visiting Disney Parks with my mom. We laugh so hard on attractions, get teary-eyed at character magic, and enjoy taking in all the sights and sounds while enjoying Mickey-shaped ice cream. I have so many great Disney memories, and I'm so excited for all the magic moments you are going to make at Disneyland Resort with your mom!

As a California resident, you do have the option to set up monthly payments for your Disneyland Resort Magic Key Passes. At this time, $179 is the only allowable amount for the down payment. You will enter into a retail installment agreement to pay the balance over 12 months, and the agreement goes into more detail on the terms and conditions related to making additional payments. You may also call Magic Key Membership Servies at (714) 781-7277 if you have any questions about purchasing your passes.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! As you and your mom plan your visits, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates. Sometimes special opportunities or merchandise are available for Magic Key holders, and I think it's fun to follow Disney Parks Blog for those announcements and stories. I'm always adding to my "must try" list, which I have organized by location. Enjoy every minute unlocking the magic together!

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
