I plan to purchase the special $89 3 day/3 park ticket AND a one day ticket to Magic Kingdom. I plan to visit MK in the middle (AK day 1, MK day 2, HS day 3 etc). Will that plan cause any problems in booking my lightning lanes for the entire trip?

Hey Natalie, welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you've visited with your planning question, and that you are considering using Lightning Lane passes during your trip. It's such a terrific way to save time and pack more into your Disney Day.

Also, I love that you feel strongly about your "optimal park visiting order" and getting a strategy in place. Daydreaming and arranging these pixie-dusted details ahead of time is a large part of the fun!

That 3 day/3 park ticket deal is fantastic, and you've got an excellent plan to use that plus a one day ticket to Magic Kingdom.... so you don't miss any of the magic. Well done, you! I'm pleased to reassure you that this shouldn't interfere with your Lightning Lane purchases in any way. Once you link all of your combined theme park admission tickets to your My Disney Experience account, the app will be aware you have qualifying tickets to purchase Lightning Lane passes. When you can make those purchases will be tied more to where you plan to stay.

If you plan to stay at a Disney Resort, your eligibility window to reserve Lightning Lanes begins 7 days prior to your arrival date, starting at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. You're allowed to purchase for the duration of your stay (up to 14 days), so you'll be able to book for all of four of your park days at that time. If you will be an offsite guest, you are eligible to book each individual day, 3 days in advance, starting at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. So neither scenario is negatively affected by your plan to utilize your one day Magic Kingdom ticket in the middle of your vacation.

Did you know that you can actually "stack deals" on some of the Disney Special Offers being featured right now? In your case, you could purchase the 3 day/3 park ticket deal AND book one of the Disney Resort Collection Hotel discounts. My family loves staying on property and staying immersed in the magic! There are lots of great benefits of staying at a Disney Resort.

Natalie, I hope this helps answer your question. Please feel free to send me another question at planDisney if I can assist with anything further.

    Happy planning!
    Tami
