Hi Tokla and welcome to planDisney!
I just love being a Florida resident and a
Walt Disney World Passholder! It gives me the flexibility to visit as often as possible and we sure do take advantage of that. My kids are always ready to hop in the car and head over for the day, weekend or extended vacation.
As Florida residents, there are multiple options for available annual passes. If you are interested in the Disney Sorcerer Pass, you do need to be aware of the blockout dates by viewing the
admission calendar and checking the dates you would like to visit. You will not be able to visit a park on a blocked out date, regardless if you purchased the pass that day. It will still be blocked out. If you see that you are wanting to visit during the days where the Disney Sorcerer Pass is blocked out, consider purchasing the Disney Incredi-Pass that has zero blockout dates. Take a look at this
handy guide that compares all four annual pass tiers. Please note that if you are purchasing an annual pass using a Florida resident discount, proper
proof of residency is required.
As an alternative, check out adding the
Water Park and Sports Option to your annual pass. For one low price, you get an entire annual pass year of admission to the
Disney Water Parks and
miniature golf (before 4 PM for golfing only). There are no blockout dates to visit the water parks or play golf, so you can utilize these activities on the days when your theme park annual pass is blocked out.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
